   the mother of his former partner Grimes, of preventing her grandchildren from meeting their great-grandmother, who is currently in end-of-life care. Garossino, in an open letter shared online, directly addressed Musk, explaining her reasons for going public with her plea.

“I am writing to you here because it is the only way I can reach you,” Garossino wrote, referring to the urgency of her message. She explained that her mother, who is 93 years old, has entered palliative care and expressed her wish to see Grimes' children, including the youngest whom she has never met. According to Garossino, the great-grandmother’s desire to meet the children has grown especially strong as she nears the end of her life.

Grimes and Musk share three children together, whom they have continued to co-parent since their split. However, recent public interactions and statements suggest an increasingly strained relationship. Musk has made headlines for various controversies and his family life has often come under scrutiny, adding complexity to his private relationships.
